I am Satheesh Kumar. A working as a whole time company secretary in public limited company in Chennai. One month back I have given two cheques of HDFC bank bearing nos:0318811 & 318810 (Rs. 10, 000/- and Rs.300/- respectively) for opening a commodity account with Belair Corporation Pvt Ltd (hereafter called company) having registered office at No.94, LUZ Church Road, Mylapore, Chennai - 600 004, through one of Co’s dealer with a condition that never deposit the cheques without my consent. After two days I got a call from the aforesaid company whether the cheque can be deposit and I directed that don’t deposit the same till my confirmation.
Unfortunately without a call or consent from my part the cheques have been deposited and cleared. I have approached the dealer of the company and he told that the company deposited the cheque even without his knowledge. Then I talk with one official in the company regarding this matter and suggested that I don’t want to open or operating any account and refund the amount.
I am very sad to say this till this time the company or the dealer not properly responded. No/proper answer at their end even if am try to chase through phone and email. Because of the cheque deposited by the company I couldn’t meet my personal financial obligation and sufferd bad consequences.
Even though my frequent request for cancellation of the account process and refund the amount, no action has taken till this moment.
