Dining plus
Fraudulant Affai

On 8th August one person called me over phone and told me that he is from Dining Plus and dining plus is having tie up with SBI credit card. then he asked me to confirm my 16 digit credit card no and the

expiry date. I confirmed the same. then he started telling me about various offers from dining plus card. As usual in response I said ok after each sentences as I was in hurry for a meeting. In the same flow

he said that the card would reach to me in 7 days. He did not ask me whether I was interested in or not.

On 10th August I got a message from dining plus that my credit card is debited Rs 5499, When I checked my credit card I found that in unbilled statement the credit card debited the same amount Rs 5499/- again on 17/10, so the amount was deducted twice on 10th and 17th

august. In this regards I wish to state following point:

1. Both the transactions are invalid. Confirming the credit card no doesn’t mean that the consent for the product is given. So it is deducted without my consent

2. The money was deducted twice. Which was refunded after a great difficulty and unconutable no of phone calls follow ups and emails took 20 days.

3. No written permission/signature or consent was given from my side

4. The terms and condition mentioned in the received diningplus card are not same as it was told over phone.

5. The facts about handling charges, selection of cities (visiting place) No discount on holidays and the goods purchasing outlets/shops etc were hidden by the dining plus agent.

6. On contacting customer care, Dining plus customer care executive Mr Ravi Patel previously told that any food bill up to Rs - shall be redeemed (paid to customer), But, now he is saying that for this

redemption one has to go on tour offered by Dining plus.

7. There is no any Dining plus outlets, in Durgapur, West Bengal where I stay, While on phone it was told that I will get discount on every item which I purchase from anywhere

8. None of the emails were answered by Dining Plus

Therefore, it is clearly understood that hiding fact and misleading and drawing money without any written permission and consent from a customer is a fraudulent practice and it is cheating.
