Hi

This is Anitha Lobo, i have a credit card of ICICI bank (5176533948362006)

I got a call in the 2nd week of august from the smart pay dept. of ICICI bank to pay off the full balance before the due date with the offer of getting the discount of 1500 on the balance and with that My card will be blocked and will receive a final statement saying that the balance is zero..Infact I got a letter also confirming the same offer.

After Accepting the offer I paid the full amt before the due date and also confirmed that by call on 2 occasions

First on 20th august spoke to Ashok from ICICI cust care and On

30th August spoke to subhash from ICICI cust care. confirming that card will be blocked and will receive a final statement on 08th september saying that the balance is zero.

And Now Got a SMS on 22nd september that there is balance of 396.98 which is due on 26th sep2010. I got so upset after seeing the Message. but since i Work night shift dont get time to do all my bank work.. hence i called on 24th sept in the night around 2:35 am after my shift... spoke to Rajesh .. who was not at all helpful... Infact asked me to call nxt day in the morning to which i explained him will not be able to call as i do night shift but he was not bother at all.

So next day on 25th sep I got up early to short out this issue.. but was on hold for almost 30mins. I was getting late to work but still i thought i will short out this issue bcoz nxt day was the due date and they will charge me an Extra late fee to which i am not responsible. On that call i was transferred to smart pay Dept by cust care without informing, however was infromed that the amt o/s is My Overlimit fee, was surprised to her that after receiving a confirmation from last two representative taht it would be Zero balance and card will be blocked.. when confirmed card was also not blocked..

After being a good customer for more than 2 years paying so much Interest and that to paying the full balance amt they are still charging me. I know it is just some Rs.396.38 where in I have paid around Rs. 47, 000 it is nothing but it is matter of principles

Hoping that it will resolve, If not then will pay the balance but will not think of coming back to ICICI had a Worst Experiences
