This is to state that I am unsatisfied with your Credit Card Service and would like to bring your kind notice, the negligence of your staff towards customer’s care/ complaints, hence request to go through this complaint.
My credit card No.”5176 XXXX XXXX 4002". I had an credit card outstanding balance of Rs.38, 879.00 as on 25th November and I paid the full amount on the same day. Later I made two transactions and I repaid the full amount for those transactions also and had NIL amount as due till date.
Today while I made a transaction of Rs.1664.00 in a supermarket I came to know that I had an outstanding due of Rs. 2003 .
When I inquired about the customer care they are replying that since I did not call then for the pre closure of EMI amount the amount has been deducted from my credit card.
This is really atrocious that while I have paid the full due amount on my card, I have to pay an extra amount only because I didn't call and inform them. Even if there is any outstanding they could as called me and informed/asked me regarding that as they have done before; other than deducting it from my credit card without my notice.
While converting into EMI the customer care person, who have called me, just informed me that if I want I can pay the full amount and can close the due amount and did not tell that I should call and inform them. Even the customer care persons are not polite while replying.
Even if there is any outstanding due without notifying me how can the bank take it from my credit card?
I will repay the Rs 1664 by the end of December (for the transaction I made on 24th December only ); so TERMINATE my credit card immediately once you receive that payment.
