Wrong Late Fees Chares Debited

Late payment fees levied on my above card in Feb '10.

The customer care officer claimed non-receipt of payment inspite my confirmation that the cheque was dropped within the due date. The same cheque was later sent for clearing in April '10, showing misplacement initially by the bank.

Bank is refusing to reverse the late fee of Rs 409.62 and finance charges of Rs 97.49.

2) Dated 18.1.10 for Rs.500/- Drawn on Vijaya Bank, Alipore Branch, Kolkata.
