TDR refund not getting

Sub: TDR Reference No. ekt2011053002637524.

TDR status: TDR filled on 30.05.2011. Case rejected on 06.10.2011.

Sending email to [email protected] on 15.10.2011 and case reopened on 20.10.2011.

But still I am not getting any refund, and not yet received any reply from IRCTC. At least one ticket refund should be made by IRCTC. Because of 2nd ticket is in waiting status and passenger not traveled.

Case details:

Refer PNR NO. 8155972815 booked on 17.05. Train no. 12905, from Porbandar (PBR) to Howrah (HWH). Boarding from Ahmedabad Stn (ADI) to Howrah (HWH).

Ticket status after chart preparation:

1. Passenger No 1. - RAC

2. Passenger No 2 - Waiting

I had booked the subject tickets for me and my wife on 17/05 as waiting status WL3 & WL4. After chart prepared only one was confirmed, the status comes for me its RAC and for my wife its Waiting.

Since both the ticket was not confirmed, we had cancelled the journey. Because its not possible to going with one RAC seat for 2person for 40hours (2087km) journey and we have a small child of 1.5years also.

Still that we are going to station for any chance of availability, the train comes on 00:30at night where as schedule time is 15:40pm on afternoon.

Requested to the running TT if any seat available but no seat available and we are bound to cancel the journey.

As I know, for RAC ticket some % can be returned but for Waitlisted ticket 100% should be refund.

This is a real case, and looking forward for your kind consideration.
