I have booked aTatkal e ticket from IRCTC authorised agent M/S " Riya Travel & Tours (I) PVT LTD", Mumbai, with the following details :-

Even though the Travel agent have assured me that the ticket is confirmed, on the travelling day when I checked the status on 139 the ticket status was WL12 (I have the proof of the same in the form of sms received from 139) and my name was not in the reservation chart. I enquired with the T.T.E and he said that the ticket was not confirmed and the ticket refund was already gone to the agent. And hence I was not able to board the train. But when I contacted the agent for ticket refund they said they haven't received the same and they have complained to IRCTC for refund (IRCTC#3970546). And IRCTC have denied the refund in the pretext that the ticket was confirmed.
I Have made 4 complaints in [email protected] and I received the stereotyped answer that my ticket was confirmed and hence no refund will be given. O.K, then please tell me why my confirmed ticket turned to WL 12 in the chart and who will compensate for the financial loss and mental stress suffered by me.
Please seriously look into this complaint by accessing the confirmed passenger list available in the Railway system and check whether the passenger name or PNR No: appeared in that. I am sure that you won't find the same and then why refund is denied to me?
