Ticket refund money not obtained

I had booked a to & fro ticket in Delhi - Kolkata sector. My onward journey was scheduled on 26/12/09 & return on 28/12/09. Due to some urgency, I had to prepone my jouney. While cancelling the DEL-KOL sector (1 month prior to departure), I was told by airline staff that after completing my return journey on 28/12, I will be eligible for refund. I called them on 29/12 and I was given a refund reference no. After that, till date, I have made innumerable phone calls, written 'n' no. of mails to [email protected] and everytime I got the reply - Your case is in progress, you will get the refund within 2~3 days. In one of the phone calls, 1 customer service boy told me that by mistake - the amount has gone to revenue dept. and I need to follow-up with them (the Pune office). Till date no solution. I even wrote a mail to [email protected], hoping that Dr. Vijay Mallya may notice this case, but I think he is too busy in other responsibilities.

Contacting them has become a 'one-way traffic'. They do not disclose the phone nos. of the concerned persons.

Hence, my advice to all of you, if you want to still travel with Kingfisher, please book your ticket through either yatra.com or makemytrip.com. They will have their cancellation charge (Rs 250/- in case of makemytrip.com but they can get your money back.
