Ought a ticket to travel on the 24th of March from Chennai to London via Hyderabad on Kingfisher then onwards from Hyderabad on Oman Air with a stopover in Muscat for a day then proceed to London.

I was told being a student that I am allowed 42 kgs and had no problem checking in with Kingfisher airlines at Chennai airport who allowed me to travel to Hyderbad.

However, the manager at Hyderabad airport refused to let me take that baggage allowance. I was repacking my bags and even agreed to throw some stuff and reduce the weight but he said we dont want to wait for you to do that and left me at Hyderbad airport.

I missed my onward connection to London and also my Hotel reservation in Muscat was wasted. Had to buy a new ticket on the spot.

Inspite of this inconvenience Oman Air refuses to issue a refund for the past nearly one year and the staff is very rude. Avoid this airline, they have no customer service.
