Refund:
I booked a kingfisher flight (Kingfisher IT-632) from Port Blair (IXZ) to Chennai (MAA) through Yatra.com on the 29th of Sept.
The date of journey was 18/11. Yatra did not bother to inform me that the flight has been cancelled from airline side, it was I who called them 2 days before the journey.
I spoke to them about the refund on 18th Nov itself, one of the representatives told me that it would take 7 working days, but later they told me that refund process will start on 26th Nov.
When I called yatra on 26th Nov they told me to wait till 5th Dec. I again called on 5th Dec they again told me to wait till 15th Dec.
When I called them today (22th Dec), Mubarak Ali khan from yatra.com again told me to wait till 15th Jan. I am fed up of calling them every fortnight and all I need is a refund of Rs 8504.
Yatra guys are asking me to contact kingfisher airline for refund, but as I have booked the flight from Yatra.com, its their duty to get me the refund.
One thing's for sure, I am never going to book any flight from yatra ever again. If they are providing tickets and taking the money immediately, then they are equally responsible for getting the consumers their rightful refund.
All I want is the refund of 8, 504/-.
