I had purchased a pair of Bata Shoes from Bata shoe store Kopineshwar Trust Bldg.2, Station Road, Thane-400601 . Against a defective pair of shoes I was given a pair of shoe (of only one type available in the same price range) on 30/01.After hardly one and half months the shoes were completely damaged beyond repair. When a reached the shop, the same brand of shoes wera lying in the scrap (the quality being rejected was made avilable for sale on discounted rate). Against the completely damaged pair of shoes I was offered onle 25% of the value of the shoes i.e. only Rs. 350/- aganst Rs.1400/-.Not being fair enough, I was advised to lodge the comlaint on this site.
