Dear Sir / Ma, am,

I had bought a compaq presario v3425au laptop from thrissur (kerala) on Sept from Computer Arcade, i was said that this was having an international warranty. I had to move to Qatar the next month, Within 6 months the laptop display was having some problem, it doesn't start up and when i checked with the HP Service center in Qatar, they said this product was not having a international warranty,

The laptop was sent back to the retailer in kerala and he said he replaced the motherboard (July), again after 6 months the same problem occurred (Jan), the display doesn't show up and the laptop doesn't start up, Again i had to replace the motherboard from Qatar (warranty period was over), i paid QR 850 for its replacement.

Again in August the same problem happened and the motherboard was replaced for the third time.

Now im being showed up with the same problem display not working, laptop doesn't start up, this is the forth time the motherboard is getting the same problem, when i searched in the internet, i found out that many persons are facing the same problems with their compaq laptops.

This is actually a problem with their product design, Its not feasible and economical to have the motherboard replaced every 6-8 months.

Looking forward for a solution from your side, As this product was bought from india, is it possible to sue Compaq for the loss of time and money in solving their defective product?
