Hi,
Recently (13 Feb) i bought a Compaq CQ40 732TU from Eastern Logica Infoway Limited (EMALL, Kolkata). S/N# CND0011MC8. Just been few months with this laptop and the "2" key popped out. When i had a closer looked at the key which came out, it looked as if it was glued to the inner board of the keyboard. I took the laptop to the service center which is situated at Bramchari street (Loudon Street) and they informed that this replacement would not be under the warranty as they can see glue on the key which is exactly how it came from Eastern Logica.
I am not sure why would i get penelised for something which i have not done even though i am in warranty. The only mistake which i had done was purchasing it from Eastern Logica because 1 of my friends had also purchased a similar compaq laptop and within 2 months the HDD crashed and had to be replaced. I regret buying it from Eastern Logica and would never recommend anyone to Eastern Logica.
I would escalate this matter to the Asia Pacific Head and if someone who would read this complaint of mine and can action upon this, pls assist.
Thanks and Regards.
