Unfortunately, I have purchased HCL desk top on 30th July10. Apparently my photon plus device was not workin on brand new pc. It was showing connected but no data transmission was happening.
I cross validate the performance of photon plus on my dell laptop at same location, where data transmission was perfectly alright.
Also, I have MTNL broadband connection which was working on my 10 year old HP Brio desktop but failed to work on latest HCL desktop pc. What a pity!!
On 7th Aug Evening, I lodged a complaint to HCL customer Care and My experience is as follows:
1. Customer care number 18601800425 got connected after 21 attempts. The first announcement was “ This number is not allotted”. Second announcement was “ This number is busy, call after some time”.
2. I was given a complaint no 1900027655 against my mobile number 9212103781 and informed that engineer would visit on 9th August, which failed to happen. I called Customer care on 9th Aug and it was confirmed again that engineer would visit on 10th Aug.
3. On 10th Aug Engineer did not turn up and I again spoke to your C Care. Then again new time line of 11th Aug was given to me.
4. This went till 13t August despite numerous calls made to support center. When engineer visited on 14th Aug, he failed to rectify thev issue and Problem is trill unresolved.
It is very disheartening to find yourself at mercy of customer care officer after you have paid for a product.
I am wondering if this the kind of support I am getting during warranty, what's gonna happen post warranty. 7 days and no response.
Now I am regretting, I should have bought HP instead of HCL. I have experienced committed support services from HP always.
I am not satisfied by the product and after sales support response, its dead piece of equipment lying at my home.
