Dear Sir,
I purchased a Nokia N72 set on 6th August'07 from Limton (P) Ltd, Kolkata. From last month i.e. March'08, the phone is not switching on but the battery is alright. I gave it to the shop from where I purchased it with my warranty details. They returned it back to me after 20 days saying that the repair would need Rs.2500 (approx) because the damage i.e.(internal damage to the ON/OFF switch) does not come under warranty clause. As per the warranty clause Sec-:'What is not covered' point no.2 (d) wherein its mentioned "The limited warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by misuse of the product, including use that is contrary to the instructions provided by Nokia". The main issue is that I did not use the phone in a way that is not mentioned in the Nokia user manual. Hence I request you to help me out in this matter so that I can get a repairing service at a NO Charge basis.
Regards,
Kuntal
