I purchased a Eureka Forbes water purifier on the 3rd of March through one of their direct sales executive. The Machine failed to work in less than a months time after installation. So had a complaint lodged and so it was fixed in couple of days time. Its been 3 months since then and again the machine refuses to operate. I lodged a complaint on the 29th of September (complain no. 59608607) and after repetative phone calls to the customer care a technician was sent to my place on the 11th of October. Thats, almost 13 /14 days after the complaint was registered. The technician pulled out the adaptor from the machine and said it needs to be replaced. When asked, when it can be done, he said whenever the company gets a stock of adaptors. I relodged a complain on the same day (complain no. 111010432) requesting them to fix my machine at the earliest as I had no drinking water in the house. However, till date (17th of October) the machine is not yet fixed and they dont have a solution to provide.
Its pathetic that they are dealing in Water Purifiers and fail to understand the importance of clean drinking water.
The machine costs Rs. 10000/- but in less than 3 months its a scrap worth nothing at all. So, I have a Eureka Forbes 'branded' scrap in my house.
