Non delivery of ordered product since three weeks, hopeless customer service!

Futurebazaar is the worst company ever to deal with. I ordered a Maharaja Mixer on the website on 31 May and have been waiting for it ever since. I have made several calls to their customer service department, only to be informed that the product is out of stock. The most frustrating part is that they first made me wait for 9 days before confirming that the product is out of stock. Now the surprising part is, the product is still being advertised on their website, http://ezone.futurebazaar.com/Product/Mixers & Blenders/Maharaja Nano Mixer Grinder/1010717

I read through various forums and discovered that this is very common, people buy online through various sales etc and many a times are just told that the product is out of stock. I was quite frustrated by the standard replies of the customer care (Deepali Manjrekar) that despite of their 7 days delivery guarantee, they were unable to deliver. I then asked to speak with the Manager and have have been speaking with Mr. Juzar, for the past week. I had used a discount coupon for my purchase and got a discount of Rs. 250 when buying the product. I asked Mr. Juzar to refund my coupon and also that I needed a compensation for the agony I have been going through for the past two weeks. I asked if I could get another mixer, since this was still out of stock and he said I would have to place a fresh order and wait for another 7 working days! I couldn't believe that I had to wait so long for a mixer! Another 9 days including saturday and sunday. I requested that the delivery be hastened and he said he would look into the matter. Then I decided to order a Kenstar mixer instead http://www.futurebazaar.com/kenstar-prince-mixer-grinder/pd/53640/ and was asked by Juzar to place the order with a customer care advisor. I was in for another shock! The customer care advisor, told me that I could get it only if I pay Rs. 1690 and the price advertised was for 1450! He said" at that price, it is out of stock, if 1690 is paid, it is in stock! " shocking! I refused to place the order and wrote to Customer Care again, for the hundredth time! Then I was contacted by a Mr. Irfan from head office and assured that I would get the mixer at 1450 but I insisted on a quick delivery and using my discount coupon and he said he would call back and take my order. This was last week. Then again a customer care rep called me on friday last week and I said enough is enough and I want the mixer delivered latest by Monday, as usual he told me he will call back to confirm and I have not heard anythin yet. Now the customer care have even stopped replying to my mails.

All in all this was the worst shopping experience of my life. I am writing this to warn anyone, who is considering buying from futurebazaar to please think again. I am sure buying from anyother place willbe better and give you some peace of mind. Futurebazaar is full of careless people, who think that the customer has all the time in the world to make them a hundred calls and write to them several times. Please save your time and money and NEVER BUY FROM FUTUREBAZAAR!
