Dear Ms. Sharma,

This has reference to my letter dated 19th Jan and the subsequent discussion I had with you and your letter dated 27th Jan.

I thank you for your sincere regret and acknowledgement of inconvenience caused to me due to the defective and substandard AC manufactured by Godrej and sold and supplied through Vani Electronics, Bhayander and the deficient, discourteous and unprofessional services provided thereafter during the continuance of the AMC.

During the period of warranty you have neglected and failed to provide any service inspite of repeated requests and reminders even though the price of product includes the price of services during the period of warranty. After expiry of the warranty period the AMC charges of Rs.2400/-under comprehensive maintenance were collected by representing that complete care and maintenance will be undertaken during the period of contract. After collecting and appropriating the charges we received a printed receipt for Rs.2360/- in September. you have dishonestly misappropriated Rs.40/- which ought to have been refunded to me or adjusted in the charges for the current year.

After willful misrepresentation and dishonest inducement of complete care under Comprehensive maintenance, we are now being informed that the AMC excludes parts and accessories. The exclusions were fraudulently concealed and suppressed with a mala fide and preplanned dishonest intention to defraud and collect the AMC charges.

The unethical & deceptive business practices followed by Godrej as a corporate entity and the irresponsive and unprofessional attitude of your employees after collecting & misappropriating the AMC charges is shocking and unbelievable.

Even after receipt of my letter dated of 19th ultimo on 21st the refund amount is not paid which was promised to be received by me shortly.

I once again request you to replace / rectify the defects within seven days from the date hereof failing which I shall be compelled to scrap the machine and initiate suitable legal action against the Company/ Directors for fraud and misappropriation and further damages for causing the inconvenience and mental agony, entirely at your risks as to cost, expenses and consequences.
