Poor quality of material

I had bought a 2 door frostfree refrig in Jan 08. Within 6 mths i had problem of the the plastics of the door handle which was broken. When i complained about it i was told that a service engineer would come and his visiting charges would be 350/- plus the cost of replacement. This is extremely exorbitant. Firstly if i pay pay more than INR 26000/- for a product i expect certain std of quality, which to my astonishment that u r using such poor quality of mtrl. i refused to pay the service charges and instead bought the plastic handle for 150/- and put it myself.

Secondly, the main door of the frig has now got problems relating to non closing of the door. Again i had to complain, and have to pay 1200/- plus 350/- for the door rubber detachable lining and service charges. i feel this is neither warranted seeing that the cost of the appliance and should not be the case that everytime something gets defective. i had gone for this product of godrej as my earlier frig gave me troublefree service for ten yrs. I am very disappointed, henceforth no product is coming to my house or any friends. For heavensake maintain quality products for such costly items.
