I am a customer from Ghatkopar EAST,
have a window AC of godrej since 2008 and it has been working fine all this time, i have been renewing my contract with you guys and never had any issues untill 6th march.
Thats when it all started, The AC was having some issues with cooling and hence i launched a complaint with your call center regarding the same Ord # 659564.
The 1st technician (Musheer) came on 7th and waited for 1 hr from 2- 3 pm just to see the cooling when the temperature never fall below 25 while it was kept for 20, he didnt even remove the ac from the shell to check it, and finally said that it was an issue of GAS LEAK and another technician would come to fix it,
The 2nd technician (Anil) came on 8th and removed the ac and checked, he said the Ac is working fine and there is no issue with the gas leak, he did a WET SERVICE, while checking for the temperature again it never fell below 23 so he says there might be an issue with the LED of AC and needs a thermometer for room temperature which he dosent have,
on 3rd day i.e 9th, the call gets closed automatically without my concern and i get an sms about the same,
i called back the call center and they gave me the nos of your Authorised dealers supervisor Ms Anita (67961366)
she calls up the authorised center guys and tells me that technician will come tomorow by noon. The technician calls me and says he will come by 10 am he next day
on 4th day, 10th march, the technician who was suppose to come at 10 am dosent turns up till 11:45 and so i call up anita again to which she says she will arrange a technician from godrej to see what the real issue is since both the previous technicians have a contradict view, the technician Anil along with a godrej technician comes at 1:20 pm, checks for compressor by pumping it, checks for other defaults finally decides the GAS needs to be refilled so removes all the GAS, then while diagonising he checks for cooling coil and finds 3 leaks in there, to which he says we cannot repair it and you need to buy a new one,
Now its the 5th day and the issue is still not resolved, i call up your call center and they say it shows that this order was long closed on 9th and shows to them as issue is resolved so i ask them to reopen it and they gave me ord#659796.
Also i got a call from anita saying that i need to place new order for the cooling coil whose charge will be around 4500 and i also need to pay for the Gas refill so total somes up to around 6500Rs
now i wish to ask if i already have a service contract dosent that covers it, i understand the parts are bad and i need to pay for cooling coil but the Gas refill is not LEGITIMATE for me to pay as it is already under a contract and i feel that since your technician removed the GAS, i should not be liable to pay for the GAS refill,
i called up your service center and they say that under all contracts GAS refill is free of charge and you shouldnt pay
so i call up anita again and she says the call center guys dont know since we are the one actually working on it.
i dont understand whose words to trust and am really dissatisfied with your service
please let me know what should be done next and how soon can you guys fix my issues???
the AC is under a service contract which i purchased for Rs 1100
also please tell me if GAS charges are inclusive or not and since your technician removed it i believe i shouldnt be liable for those charges!!!
