I have taken Airtel Broadband connection at Kolkata. While the Installation Engineer (Avijit) came for installation with normal modem I asked for Wireless modem instead of normal modem, he requested me to wait for a day and promised me to give that wireless next day. T called him next day and then again next day and it continued. I have been asked by the airtel marketing personnel Mr Subra Majumdar (TSM) and Bodhisatya to lodge complaint and take the request number. I did it more than 10 times. I was in conference with Kolkata Marketing people with Noida, Head Office by Arun and was directed to Kolkata to install this wireless modem. I agreed to pay the difference amount which is approx Rs.600. between normal and wireless modem. Numerous commitment from the Kolkata marketing guys failed and now they are not even picking up the phones

My request numbers against complaints were 40226782, 40176248, 40021534, 39826672 etc.
