Sony Ericsson Phones
Defective model/improper service

I got a Sony Ericsson C903, brand new, sealed handset (with bill and warranty) in May. Within a month, the phone started giving problems. There were call problems, the keys hardened, the music tracks would skip/hang up, volume was bad, etc. I submitted my phone to the Service centre at Platinum Mall, Ghatkopar, Mumbai, India. They took over a month to return my phone saying all the parts are spoilt and everything will have to be replaced. After giving me my phone, they asked me to format it from a cyber-cafe. I did that. But still the problems were there. No problem had been solved except the phone's keys hardening. I took the phone again to them and told the problem. The person again checked my phone and asked me to resubmit it. I could not as I am a professional and it affects my work if don't have a phone. So they again checked it then and there, formatted it and said now nothing will happen.

I even called the number mentioned on the site (1800 11 1800) to complain but my call would always be kept on wait and finally disconnected. Now, it is hardly 5 months and my phone's alarm is not working, the vibrator is spoilt, the phone hangs up, I do not receive delivery messages (despite the proper settings) and also there is a problem in the calls.

I tried mailing/calling the Sony Ericsson people loads of times but I never get a response. I am tired and want a replacement or refund. I don't know whom to approach. If this continues, the only option left will be the court of law. This is the worst product and service I've ever come across and I will never recommend this brand to anyone.
