Transcend 500GB External HDD
Seller's harassment due to biased eBay attitude

I have a seller's account on eBay.

I have sold various products via eBay including a Transcend 500GB External HDD, which I have sold all across India. I have a courier tie-up with Blazeflash. All my shipments have been smooth and hassle free.

I got an order from Mr. Jitender Dhadwal on Sept. 15 for the same. (Item ID # 170381503076)

I shipped the order asap and it was informed to me by courier service (and can be checked at the Blazeflash Tracking site as well) that the order was delivered on Sept. 18. Please find the tracking link here.

I have the original copy of the courier receipt through which the shipment was sent.

I called up the customer to check the status of the product again and again and there was no response. Later I found out that the number provided was a wrong number. (I have a proof).

I did not receive any reply from the buyer during all this.

On Sept. 23 (i.e. 5 days after the delivery), I got a call from a lady claiming to be the buyer of the product. She was highly rude and abusive. She claimed that there was no Hard-disk Drive in the box. She said, the packet was cut and was taped over again. She also threatened me.

But it is clearly written on the courier slip that the weight of the package sent was 500gms. It was also told to me by the buyer himself that there was no one at home when the package was received and that it kept lying at his place for 5 days before his wife came back from outdoor and opened the package. I am just not accountable for that period during which the mishap could have possibly taken place. The buyer has been trying to pressurize me using the power of his position mentioning that he is a Major in Army.

Considering the situations from my end, I don't think I stand a fault anywhere. I delivered the item in time and in good shape to the buyer and also I tried maintaining a good contact with him.

Also, I was the first one to report this case to inrswebhelp, to customer care (Complaint ID : 00234926, Representative Name - Dhaniya Nair.) and to my relationship manager Ms. Vibha Sharma. But I didn't get any kind of help from any quarter.

The buyer has given me a negative feedback is completely which is completely untrue where he is claiming that he didn't get any response from me. I have a proof of all the chain mails that happened during this entire dialogue. I have tried my level best to explain him my situation.

Now the buyer has also lodged a formal complaint against me on eBay, claiming the item is "Significantly Not as Described."

I request the concerned person to look into the matter & help me out in such miserable situation. I see eBay has elaborated buyer protection programs but where is any seller protection program if at all there is any...

PLEASE HELP!!!
