As discussed today over the phone, I purchased a spice mobile (S-930) on the 6th of Jan from Hot Spot outlet in K/2 B, Lajpat Nagar- II, Delhi 110024. Before the purchase while I was inquiring about the features & the battery backup along with the talk time I was informed by the salesman (Rahul Puri) that the company (Spice) claims its 7 - 10 days of standby time & 5 - 7 hours of talktime. But he went to tell me that he was himself using the same phone which he showed me & told me that whatever the company claimed about the talktime he said that if he charges his phone completely (say) today & he talks 2 - 2.5 hours perday then he would have to recharge the phone by lunchtime on the day after tomorrow.
However, after I brought the phone I realized otherwise. The battery talktime is not more then 1 hour & the stand by time is less then 1 full day. On the 12th Jan I missed a scheduled client call early morning as the phone was conked off at night & the alarm didn't go off. This proved to be a very huge loss to me & my company. I called the same day at 91 971 779 4469 to meet Manish Kaarki on the other end of the line. On narrating him my issue he said that it would be OK if I come over to the store by Saturday (16th Jan). I was sold the phone with one blatant lie that the talktime is more then 5-7 hours. Even today I charged the phone to full in the morning charging for 3.5 hours (following the guidelines of Spice). The 1st call for the day was to you at 1Pm approx for 18 minutes & the next call which I received for 8 mins from you bringing the total to approx 26 mins. After which the phone started to show low battery. I am also very annoyed also with the fact that the phone hangs at times. Now this is serious manufacturing defect.
Also, I have paid Hot Spot Care Pack (Scanned Copy Attached).
Now when I talked to them they say that they would not replace the phone. This is how they dupe their customers.
