Horrible experience with IFB,
My 25SC2 Microwave (In Warranty) oven's Tray was not rotating. I logged the compliant on 23 march. The customer care executive (IFB toll free No) told me that, they will send the engineer with in 24HR. But the engineer named Mr. Issac come only after 3 days and he told that part is not available and intend the part to IFB and he told me that plastic part under the tray was burnt, the customer should pay minimum 500 INR for that part replacement. With out any information the Service Engineer (Mr. Issac) took the plastic part under the tray and went.!!! after 1week later I called Bangalore Service centre (080 25745116) and talked to the In charge Mr. Niranjan and update the whole history.!! Again he sent the same engineer and he is brought some duplicate part from somewhere. he removed and opened the sealed Tray motor and fix some old gear on that and fix the motor on Owen, while he switching on smoke come out from Owen.!! fortunately I ask him to stop the all junk work and bring brand new Tray motor.
The Engineer Mr. Isaac from Bangalore service centre Did not closs the machine and still my Owen is opened condition.!!!
After this incident I discussed with my engineer friends, they told me a shocking story.
Actually this Tray motor is a Sealed combination of gear and a DC motor, any service engineer is not authorized to open this part, some times the engineer bring some old part from second hand market and fix to warranty machines!! and they will sell the original parts from IFB.
And the engineers simply tells to poor customers that, some plastic parts will not cover warranty so customer should pay some amount even if it is under warranty.!!
Today 19 April I contacted again Bangalore service centre and talked to Mr. Niranjan he gave his Manager (Mr. Michel) Number (9379229501) and ask me to contact him.!!!
Anyway I am going to contact him. and I am planning to continue this writings..
