Subject:- REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE NOKIA SET-2700
Sir,
With due respect & humble submission, I, Jyoti Mehra, resident of Shahdara, Delhi-32 would like to state following few lines for your kind consideration and favourable action please:-
2. That sir, I purchased a Nokia-2700 mobile phone from S K Gulati & Co., 550 main bazaar, Chotta Bazar, Shahdara, Delhi-110032 vide their invoice/cash memo bill book no.145, serial no.14476 dated 28.10.2009 (copy attached for ready reference please)
3. On the very next day, I feel some problems in the above Nokia set like hangs up, auto on/off, discharge of battery within half an hour etc. Immediately I reported the matter to Mr Gulati the owner of shop & seller of above mentioned Nokia-2700 handset. He replied that it may be some battery problems and he replaced the battery with the new set of Noika-2700. But the problem was remained same. Thereafter I requested several time to change my Nokia handset with the new one but my all requests fallen in deaf year. He argued and said that after selling of handset his responsibility ended and further complaint in this regard will be dealt by ‘Nokia Care Centre’. Later some more problems like auto vibration, sparking inside, nonfunctioning of music player & other software/technical network problems were noticed.
4. On 24 Mar I complained the matter with “Nokia Care Centre” at Maa Communication, B-36 Guru Nanak Pura Radhu Palace Road, Opposite V3S Mall Laxmi Nagar, Delhi vide job sheet number-144433527/100324/62 dated 24 Mar (copy attached for ready reference please). They deposited the nokia set and returned it on 27 Mar with assurance that the nokia set has been repaired and it is working in order. But after the use of 2-3 days, I found that the problems are same and the Nokia handset is not working in order. Sir, I hope & even sure that I purchased a defective piece of Nokia-2700 which have no alternate except immediate replacement.
5. Sir, I am fade up of above mentioned problems and it is not possible to a girl to go here & there for replacement/repair of this defective Nokia-2700 handset
6. In view of the above, you are therefore requested kindly arrange to replace my above mentioned Nokia-2700 handset with the new set otherwise I am compel to go to Consumer Forum at your cost & risk for which Nokia Company will be solely responsible. An early action in this regard shall be highly appreciated.
