Handset Lost

Hi,

My father lost his Nokia Handset on 16th July when we were on a tour to South India, is it possible to get the handset back? The lost mobile's number was 8986682826 (BSNL prepaid connection). I dont have the IMEI number, but you can get it from call logs. Also you may get the mobile number and location of the person who is currently using this handset.

Pls note the Poice really dis not help in getting the mobile..

Pls let me know how could I get the mobile back.
