On the Day of Dassera i.e. 28th September I got a call from the india todaybook club sale deptt to purchase a samsung mobile & I have booked the Samsung Star Mobile S5233 amounting to Rs 9498/- along with this purchase I was been offered 1) 2 nights 3 Days Holiday package, 2) Reebok watch worth Rs 2600/- 3) A gold voucher of Rs 5000/- from Surat Jewellery.
When i got my delivery after 20 Days, i was surprised to note that there is not any gift with my mobile set as they talked while booking the mobile phone and they mention to go site of bookclub to claim
But when I had logging for claiming free gifts on www..bookstoday..in/promos.htm i am able to see different gifts in this which I don’t required.
I have tried many time to their toll free no. 011-40502424 but always it was on hold for more than 25 minutes. Afetr that one time i was able to talk to customer care about my gift, and they assured that they will do the needfull and there is some technical error. And also the have told that for gold voucher to be redeemed i have to purchase any Gold worth Rs 8000/- for redeeming 5000/- Rs Voucher. But when i had a talk with helpline of India Today Book Club after 2 mnths of Purchase they told me to visit the Website of Surat Jewellery. And when i visited the website there was no Gold ornaments to be purchased only everthing was Gold Diamond where the ratres are too high from the market rate after Deducting the voucher value also.
After that i send them many mails, on the last mail dt: Saturday, 23 January they have told me that your free gift (watch) along with new order no. 0FA100000060 is under process from our end we request you that kindly wait for some days you will receive the same soon.
And again try to cheat me by informing " that my purchase amount is less than another person, so i have to purchase another product and for that reason they have held all the Gifts with them. I dont want to buy any othe rproduct from India Today Book Club
My Demand:-
1.My reward of Rs. 08 lac / 04 lac / or 01 lac as ur sale person confirm me (as per him it is 110% confirm u may listen recording of that day)
2 Free Reebok gift watch
3. Gold Jewellery Voucher of Rs 5000/-
4 Holiday Voucher (I have received the Booking Request Form after again talking to Customer Care for 2 months)
For the record purpose i have all the mails regarding the gift they have confirmed to send to me.
