Please see the following mail, which I wrote to axis bank Anna Nagar branch head, after this mail we had discussion also & i have been told that some of the charges they will refund but till today there is no reply of my any mails & no refund.
Dear Sir / Madam,
My name is Santosh Chavan I am having a savings a/c in your branch & my a/c no is 016010100478045. My problem is on 30/10 I have checked my account balance which was Rs. 234/- so I have issued 1 cheque of Rs. 177/- towards HSBC bank. Then on a same day you have charged me 120 Rs. Which your customer care people telling me for Mobile banking. But on 30-09-08 you people have charged me some 100 Rs. Which I asked for what it is, then I got the answer from your customer care people that it is for Mobile banking (which I got to know before this new problem has occurred)
I didn't got any intimation from your side for your charge, your guy is telling me that we are giving intimation at the start only. Then what it the use of Mobile banking??? I should know each & every transaction of my account. Due to your charges of Rs. 120 my cheque got bounced which I issued for my credit card payment. & for which you have charged me 400 Rs. approx. then can you just tell me what is my fault in this??? Now you charged me 400 Rs, then that HSBC will also charge me some penalty then your 1 mistake cost me nearby 1000-1500 Rs. Which I am not going to pay, & you have to give me clarification on this.
After discussing so many times with your people I got the information that the 100 Rs which you have charged me on 30-09-08 it is for intercity cash deposit. But sir As per my knowledge & as per your rules & regulations I can do 1 intercity deposit in a quarter so kindly check my statement whether I have made any cash deposit in my account before, & the whatever information I got from your side is absolutely wrong.
I want clarification on following issues.
1) Why you have charged me 100 rest. On 30-09-08??
2) Why your customer care guy has given me wrong info saying that it was for mobile banking?? (due to his wrong info I thought my mobile banking charges has been debited, so I am not responsible for the bounce of my cheque & for any charges from both the side.
The mistake has been done from your side, so please clarify it. & if the HSBC will charge me any penalty then that also you need to pay, I am not going to pay any penalties when there is not my fault.
