Dear Sir,
I am a holder of Barclays Gold Credit card (Card no. 4339485282477550).
For the card no. 4339485282477550 I have received the latest Barclaycard E-Statement via email on 30th April stating Total outstanding (Incl. EMI) is Rs. 18568.77.
When i called Barclays customer care on 14th May & enquired about my Total outstanding as on 14th May the customer care representative informed that my Total outstanding (Incl. EMI) is Rs. 29000.00
I was surprised with the outstanding amount informed by customer care representative & explained that the last E-Statement received from Barclaycard has Total outstanding Rs. 18568.77.
Since i had a latest last month account statement i have visited the local Barclaycard office at Sakar 7, Ashram Road & assisted for help. The more to surprised that they were also not able to justify the difference of outstanding between E-Statement & the amount reflecting in their system.
On arguing a lot, the representative has asked me to contact the customer care helpline only.
Pls. let me know whether this kind of service from Barclays is justified.
I would request you to please help to get the matter resolved at the earliest.
