I am a credit card holder of Barclay Bank with no. 4339 4852 5886 5028. The cueque collection box of the bank is around 9 km. from my house and the place I work. From the last two bills, I had been paying late Payment Fee. I paid Rs.1500-00 till now to your bank and I didnot claim any reversal till now. On advise from your customer service centre, I paid Rs. 150-00 as the balance leaving aside the late payment fee. That was paid in time. Again, I got a late payment fees this month, totalling the late payment fees to Rs.1200-00 in just two months without using your card atleast once in the last three months. I drop the cheque at All Cheque drop box at Bombay Gas light stores, Asilmetta, Visakhapatnam. There is no facility to pay the bill directly. On Sundays, the shop is closed and on working days, I find it difficult to go to drop the cueque. And, I am paying my bills regularly. At this rate of penalty, I cannot use your card in future. I humbly request to reverse the late payment fees and collect what ever is spent by me. Otherwise, I am frightened to use your card. So, issue a fresh statement revising the charges or otherwise, cancel my card. I want to continue my relationship with the bank. My only request is to reverse this. Rs.1200-00 . I promise not to delay my payment in future. I cannot pay such huge penalty for a very simple mistake of my inability to move to the place to drop the cheque. I am not escaping your payment. I request you do justice.
