Hi Guys, I got the Barclays Card one & halfyear back. las
november someone from Barclays Priority Circle (BPC) called me and told because of my timely repayment, they preferred me for the BPC offer, for which they will send me the Rs 5000 worth gift coupons and Rs 1500 worth troley. At that time itself i asked that guy whether i have to pay any amount for this. They told that i need not to pay atlease one rupee for this. Then only i said ok. But in next month they charged Rs 5000 for this amount.
But i called customer care to know what is the actual thing. They told me to call BPC centre and give a request to cancel the same. But they also taken the request for this and till now i didnt get any gift coupons and troley, and they are telling that they cannot reverse the amount. I wrote a complaint to them got a response from them after a month a guy saying that he is a manager, tell me that he’ll reverse the amount that they charged for priority as I haven’t got anything until regarding priority and paying the interest for it. And in next 2 days I got a letter that they’ll not be able to reverse the BPC charges as per their F*** rules.. I again called them and told them about the guy who promised me about the reversing BPC charges their CS agent told me that theres nobody in the name (rajesh) in finance dept and she’ll investigate on why I was given wrong information about reversing charges.
I got so much frustrated and this Barclays card would ring your Landline phone & mobile every 10 mins before 10 days of the due date and when you answer it you will get no one to answer you.
This is the worst cheat I have ever come across. I realy need some advise if someone goes through all this
So guys please dont get the Barclay card and even if you are receiving any call. please record the same in your mobile.
Advise needed.
