Our RO machine “REVIVA” was under AMC. We renewed it on Sept 6 well in advance of due date (Sept 19). But we did not know what troubles will follow.
The technician changed all the membranes and filter. We drank water from it as usual.
We called the technician on Sept 7 that water seems to be spoiled. He told us that it happens when membranes are changed. We told him that we know that it never happened in any previous years. He told us to keep drinking the water from it. We kept calling him daily, but for some reason, he could not come to check it.
We kept getting sick (vomiting, high fever-102). We talked to our doctor and went on Antibiotics. Nothing helped. We are still sick, and may have to be hospitalized. We have spent at least Rs. 2500 on lab tests and medicines.
The technician finally came on Sept 9 and saw that waste pipe was choked, which he replaced. Then next day he came after we insisted that it is still bad water, and changed the main membrane again.
We drank raw untreated water for 4 days. It has done irreparable damage to our system
My wife already had acute intestine disease, which has become very serious, possibly requiring surgery.
We have had Aquaguard since 1991, then RO plant since 2004 to avoid such health problem. But it happened, in spite of our own precautions, due to serious omission by Eureka Forbes.
Eureka Forbes has created havoc in our life and must make amends to pay for all the damages so far and possible future damage.
