DELAY IN REFUND OF AMC AMOUNT

ON 8.8.09, THROUGH ONE SALES REP. MR. THANIGAIVEL OF EUREKA FORBES I PURCHASED ONE NOVA GOLD WATER PURIFIER FOR RS.9590 - 1000 (EXCHANGE OF OLD NOVA). ON THAT TIME HE PROMISSED THAT THE REFUND OF AMC AMOUNT WILL BE MADE WITHIN 3 DAYS. I WAITED FOR 10 DAYS AND CALLED IN HIS CELL 9444207150, FOR WHICH NO RESPONSE FROM HIM AND ON SEEING MY NUMBER HE FAILED TO ATTEND THE PHONE. I WENT TO EUREKA OFFICE AT ANNA NAGAR CHENNAI AND MET ONE MAHESWARI, WHO TOLD THAT SHE WILL INFORM MR. THANIGAIVEL AND SEE THAT THE CHEQUE IS GIVEN WITHIN TWO DAYS. THIS HAPPENED ON 24.8.09. AFTER THAT, I TRIED THE OFFICE AND MR.THANIGAIVEL SEVERAL TIMES AND BOTH OF THEM NOT LIFTING THE PHONE ITSELF. TODAY FORTUNATELY I MADE A CONTACT WITH MR.THANIGAIVEL FROM A NEW CELL PHONE NUMBER AND HE INFORMED THAT HE WILL SEE THE CHEQUE WILL BE GIVEN TO ME WITHIN HALF AN HOUR.

BEING A SENIOR CITIZEN, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO GO BEHIND THEM AND I FEEL IT INCONVENIENCE AND MENTAL TENSION.

THEREFORE, I REQUEST THAT THE AMC AMOUNT OF RS.1890/-(AMC. 16283022 VALID FOR TWO YEARS UPTO 03.01.2011) MAY BE REFUNDED EARLY,

FURTHER FOR THE MENTAL TENSION GIVEN BY MR. THANIGAIVEL AND MAHESWARI, A SUM OF RS.10, 000/- MAY BE RECOVERED FROM THEM AND PAID TO ME ALONG WITH THE CHEQUE FOR RS.1890/- FOR THE NEGLIGENCE AND IRRESPONSIBLE MANNER THE MATTER HAS BEEN DEALT WITH.
