I have purchased two inverter plus Exide batteries for a 1400 va luminous invertor on 29.12.2007 (so warranty exist upto 29.06.2009) from a dealer R.K.BATTERIES, HUKULGANJ, VARANASI.
One of the battery (serial no. 4F7-19134) has been sent to service centre through my dealer R.K.BATTERIES on 14.05.2009 and I have been given a PRN NO. 10829 and a phone no. 0542-2370883 of service centre by my dealer. When I enquired for its status, till 22.5.09 it was said that "battery is under charging" and on 23.5.09 they told me that "battery is O.K." and it will be sent to my dealer, from where it can be collected on Monday 25th'May. Why they are making contradictory statements.
Today i.e. on 25th'may'09 they are again saying that we are checking its backup and wanted more days.
Sir this to be noticed that at the time of purchase of the batteries it was told that this kind of batteries are non-repairable and will be replaced immediately whenever any complain arises. Now they are taking so long time. Already, it is 12th day it has been sent.
Is this not only passing the time, when it is going to be end of warranty period.
