On 27th December around 5:30 PM, I purchased Daily's whole wheat bread from Foodworld Vijayanagar, Bangalore by paying Rs. 25.00
The manufacture date on the bread pack was 27-Dec and the expiry date was 30-Dec.
After I went home, I opened the bread pack and I saw that there was fungus all over the bread.
So I went back to Foodworld Vijayanagar, returned the bread and asked them to refund the money.
They said that they cannot return the money instead I need to buy something else for the same or higher amount.
As the money was stuck with them, I had to purchase something which I did not need at all.
In the whole process, foodworld gained Rs. 25.00 but I ended up buying something which I did not need at all.
Why should the customer has to always loose out his money?
Why can't the money be returned to the customer when the retailer has sold a faulty product?
