Flight delay

To whomsoever it may concern

I, Gisela Dodd, was to leave for Hyderabad by G8 371 ETD 06.35 on Monday 21st April. On reaching the airport well before the required one hour, I was made to understand that the flight was cancelled, and the ground staff, said that the next flight at 12.30 hrs was full. The staff was not even sure that there was no flight the next morning 22nd April, as at first she was trying to put me on to that flight.

Finally I agreed to go on G8 457, ETD 19.25 hrs. At 17.10 hrs I get a text message onn my cell phone saying the flight is delayed to 21.00 hrs which means I will now be arriving at Hyderabad well past midnight and being alone it is fearful for a lady, to arrive and travel to the city at that unearthly hour.

What is most annoying at the callous way in which the staff answer. The airline has no qualms about the inconvinience they have caused to the passengers. Moreover, with such terrible cancellations and delays from the Airlines the least they should do is provide transport from the airport to the passengers destination.

I can only hope that when I arrive at the Mumbai Domestic airport there are no further delays.
