I am a frequent flyer of Kingfisher Airlines and you always claim about your good customer service and punctuality, but recently I faced nightmare due irresponsible and non cooperation behavior of your airlines staff, load me to mental torture & financial loss, It also badly affected my official meetings and put me in a bad image. Now I have to think twice before making any travel in your airlines in future.
According to my itinerary I booked my air tickets on Kinghfisher Flight No. IT 3104 through maketrip.com from Bangalore to Lucknow via Mumbai on 5.10.2008 after attending an official meeting at Bangalore. On October 3rd, at 13.04 PM, I received an information from your airlines through SMS that the flight No. IT 3104 from Bangalore to Lucknow via Mumbai is cancelled. I immediately contacted your airlines and requested for an alternative arrangements, but to my surprise your officials at Bangalore did not respond properly, they hardly bothered to help me. They refused to provide an alternate arrangement and told that the fare would be refunded. It was very difficult to arrange an alternate flight ticket in the city like Bangalore at the eleventh hour. According to my schedule I had to reach Lucknow on 6.10.08 to attend an important meeting with senior officials of the State. At last I was forced to pay more for air ticket to reach Lucknow at any cost. It is your responsibility to provide an alternate arrangement to the passenger in case of last moment cancellation of flights. In case you would have informed me about the cancellation of flight well in advance I would have made alternate arrangement and did not face such trauma.
I faced this agony as well as mental and financial loss because of your Airlines hence, I expect you to pay the compensation of Rs 50, 000/- towards all this to me. In case my request for compensation is not accepted I have no other option but to initiate legal proceedings.
An early action in this regard is requested.
