I had purchased HLL's PureIt water filter on 23/12. The filter was working fine until 10days back it auto-shut off because the battery kit needs to be replaced in 8months. I had immediately put in a request for new battery kit, the executive at the time of installation had said the the battery kit would be replaced within 3days of registering the request. I have been calling the customer care 3-4times a day ever since and the only response i have recieved everytime has been that they have forwarded the request further and have been giving me the assurance that we should hear from them shortly but still haven't recieved a mere call even.
The customer care executive cannot connect me to their senior they don't give an direct no. or even the number of the service centre.
They are very quick in sending in a person to give sales demo and the installation of the system during sale time but the after sales service is a real bad joke.
I went through several forum & sites and have come across several listing of similar grievances from people all over India and after going through them I seriously regret purchasing this useless filter and why didn't go through these forums before purchase..
The last resort left for me is to file a complaint in the consumer forum and seek resolution. Probably the consumer forum could stir them into action.
