Refund for Failed Trasaction of IRCTC

Dear IRCTC Team

I have booked tickets through IRCTC internet facility on 10-Oct-08 from Yaswantpur (Bangalore) to Secunderabad on 10-Oct-08 for three passengers by SC Garib Rath. And also I have given the details below.

I have made a payment through CITI bank debit/ATM gateway and Rs 1130/- deducted from my Citi Bank account.

But the screen says it is not accepted and did not give me any PNR number.

Please cancel the transaction and credit my amount to CITI bank, as I have booked another ticket.

Request you to do the needful.

And i got this mail from care IRCTC, but no action.

Dear Customer,

*We deeply regret for the inconvenience caused to you in this regard. As your payment status for transaction id (s) *0070397633 *was not communicated by the Payment gateway in time, the ticket booking did not materialize. After reconciliation if the amount is found debited, the same will be processed at Payment Gateway for refund. We would ensure that the refund is made at the earliest. In future you are requested to use the Refund status tracking service provided by IRCTC. Select the “Refund Status” Link in the left panel under the “My Transactions”.*
