Refund against Waitlisted Ticket

I had booked an e-ticket through IRCTC, detailed as below:

Transaction ID : 00481236768

>PNR No : 8442520873

>Train No. & Name: 1463/VRL JBP EXPRESS

>Date of Booking : 11/05 10:07:40PM

>Date of Journey : 05/6

> From: AHMEDABAD

>To: JABALPUR

>Class : 2A

>The ticket was meant for 2 persons, having following status;

>1. A1/0006/CONFIRMED

>2. 0000/RLWL 1

>The waitlisted seat was not confirmed till the date of journey and the pasenger was not allowed to travel on above ticket.

The matter was reported to IRCTC, vide e-mail Dtd.11.06.08and requested to arrange refund against waitlisted ticket.

IRCTC replied on12.06.08 that"We are forwading your case to railways for TDR process. Railways check all the matters and decide what amountshould be refunded and this all process takes 90 days or more."

Subsequently various reminders sent on e-mail address"etickets/[email protected]", but no satisfactory reply could be received. Even no e-mail is now being replied by IRCTC sent to rermind them that the period of 90 days has lapsed long back. The last mail sent on 06.11.08 is also unreplied.
