Sub: Disconnection of phone No. 4331012

Sir,

I have Airtel connection No.4331012. I had applied for disconnection of this number and paid the upto date bills. The last bill was paid on 8.12.07 vide receipt No.76564 amounting to Rs. 638. Some Kamlesh has signed the bill along with the request for disconnection. The above person took the application and informed that somebody will come for disconnection and taking back the instrument. Nobody came, no further response came from your side.

On 22.12.07 some other person came and told that we have to pay Rs. 721/- because disconnection takes a months’ time and between 8.12.07 till 22.12.07 an amount of Rs. 721/- has become due, which includes rental. We paid the amount vide receipt dated 22.12.07 bearing No. 88336 signed by …. Singh. He informed that the next day somebody will come for disconnection and taking back the instrument. Nothing happened.

Now again I have received a bill of Rs.1332/-.

I shocked to receive this bills and the way the company is handling its customers. Let me make clear I am not going to pay this and any further bill. For me the phone has been disconnected and I owe no liability whatsoever. If I do not receive a prompt and correct action on your part, I will be left with no option but to take legal course of action.
