I had purchased LG Split AC in April & was satisfied with its performance. I purchased 2 more AC’s thereon & was a satisfied customer.
However, yesterday I had an issue with the First AC that I had purchased. It was very sparingly used & suddenly it stopped working. I called the LG Support & they sent 2 Service Technician to my place.
They came, checked & to my surprise they confirmed that AC gas has leaked & that is the reason it has stopped working. They also confirmed that One of the Capacitors have also gone bad & needs to be replaced.
They also checked the place where it leaked & it was found at the back of the indoor unit. They confirmed that it was most likely an installation failure or something as that part cannot be touched in anyway. When I asked them to repair the issue they said that I would have to pay for the same.
My question is very simple, Why should I pay for something that went wrong because of poor quality of product or lack of technical competency of installation LG technicians?
It should be the company who has to fix this issue & they should fix it completely.
