My LIC- Jeevan Dhara Policy No.-231462684 matured on 28-02. I informed my present address, i.e.C/o Sri R.Y. Yadav, 51A, Vishnupuri Extension, Church Road, Aliganj, Lucknow to LIC City Branch Office-I, IVth floor Indira Bhawan, Civil Lines, Allahabad, the branch that had issued the Policy. Subsequently LIC, CBO-I, Allahabad issued cheque for Rs. 11, 143.00 towards payment of FAB CMA (Copy enclosed), but I am not receiving monthly annuity installments.
Enquiry with LIC, CBO-I, Allahabad revealed that the annuity instalments are to be sent by North Central Regional Office, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Kanpur and it is sending cheque towards annuity installments to my earlier address of Gorakhpur (C/o Sri Deo Vrat Nayak, B 113, New Awas-Vikash Colony, Betia Hatha – South, Gorakhpur), inspite of the fact that my address has been changed in LIC records as evident from the fact that FAB CMA was sent to me on my new address. Therefore I requested Regional Manager, LIC of India, North Central Regional Office, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Kanpur vide letter no. 2/ LIC- NCRO-MGR-KNP dated 31/12/08 (scanned copy attached) sent through Speed Post and also through e-mail ([email protected]).
Again a reminder was sent vide letter no. 1/LIC- NCRO/ MGR- KNP/ 2009 dated 25/2/09 to Regional Manager & Accounts Officer, J-P/ J-D Cell Annuity account, LIC of India, North Central Regional Office, Jeevaan Vikas, 16/98, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Kanpur through Speed Post.
Grievance was also informed to Regional Manager, North Central Regional Office, Jeevaan Vikas, 16/98, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Kanpur, on telephone no 0512-2314594 on 24/3/09
All of my above efforts have failed to give any result and I have neither recieved even a single annuity installment nor any response from LIC. Kindly do the needful and also the following:-
1. Henceforth stop payment of all cheques sent to my earlier address of Gorakhpur.
2. Kindly send cheque for total payment due till now on my present address of Lucknow as mentioned above.
3. In future also, kindly send cheques for annuity installments at my present address.
