I purchased a Rubber tube from MRF authorised dealer on 19th March. He asked me which size of tube I wish to purchase. Upon checking the tyre sizes I confirmed that it is the bigger size tyre for which I need a tube. Inspite of clear instructions he delivered small size tube.
When I went to fit the tube i realised that this dealer has given me wrong size tube. When I contacted him on phone he said he can not give me replacement and the reason sited for such denial was that I had paid the amount by credit card. Upon raising the voice, he said he will replace the tube next day. In the process I lost money in getting the old tube repaired and waste of time.
Next day when I went to replace the wrong size tube, the employees of dealer did not even had courtesy to apologize for the mistake on their part. On top of it they gave me some obsolete old non moving tube. I insisted that since I have paid the full amount for the brand new tube, they said that there is no stock available for such tube in packed condition. This sounds rediculous that authorised dealer of MRF did not had stock of packed material in their show room.
Upon protest they gave me another tube in open condition.
My bill for purchase with wrong tube was taken back by them and they did not gave me bill for replaced material.
