I purchased a Nokia mobile hand set model:5200 on 11/07 from Abhishek & Co. 5/64, J.L. Nehru Road (an authoirsed shop of Nokia) and this set got defective in the month of march. I personaly went to Nokia sevice center of Allahabad (Mobile Hut, Meena Bazar, 10, S.P. Marg, Civil Lines) but they have refeused to repair the Mobile free of cost, stating that this set is tempered by market. I explained them that I have not tried to get it repared by any unauthoired shop but they have not agreed and taken Rs 2375 as the repair charges against the receipt no. 0023 dt. 05/06 and retuned the repared set after almost 3-months. ON 07/06 I observed that this mobile is still not working, so I went to above service center once again on 09/06 and they have checked the set again and told me that Battery is not good and needs repalcement. I purchased the new Battery on the same day and same was put in the Mobile by their sevice man and mobile set was again retuned to me but on 10/06 again I observed that it is still not working. Finaly on 12/06 they have taken back the mobile for further investigation/repar and told me that you will get back the set on 21/06. On 21/06 when I phoned the serive center they told that a theft has taken place in their repair center and my above mobile was also stolen so you submit the documents so that we can send these for settlement.
I visited the above service center on 25/06 and submitted all the releated documents to them. Now they are stating that you have to wait for minimum for 60-days.
Why should I wait for such a long period. I also like to metion here that they have not made any alternative arrangement also.
I should be given a New Mobile set of Model:5200 as I have already paid Rs. 6200 2375 1250 = 9825 and still not able to use the mobile from last 3-months.
