We had bought a Philips TV (Model No 29PT5607) from Vijay Sales, same was with a manufacturers defect and exchanged within 15 days, now 14 months later the circuit has a break down. This reflects Philips manufacturing and Vijay Sales selling a substandard products.
The more important to look at this is Philips service centres are charging extrremely high repair charges (they have estimated repair cost of rs3300 while a local technicial has quoted rs 1100.) this shows company is selling substandard products and earning high on repair charges.
I request all you friends to avoid getting tempted to offers buying from Vijay Sales and also don't buy philips products.
