I had purchased a Phillips MP3 player worth INR2500 vide tax invoice no :15526 dtd:27.08.2009

However to my surprise the player malfunctioned after 2 days itself on 29th August.

When i took the invoice reference and the warranty card to the concerned dealer :

i was advised by one of them to bring the product personally to the shop.

When i had done the same, i was told to call the customer toll free number of Philips : 18601801111

or to take it to service centre and that its not their responsibility since its alreadysold.

I had been clearly advised from the toll free number of Philips today that this complaint can be taken care by taking the product to the dealer or to Philips.

Dealer resfuses to take the machine and rectify the problem.
