Irresponsible ground staff in handling the baggage caused a loss of 5000Rs

Hi,

we really had an atrocious experience with jet airways. the ground staff are really useless and incapable to perform their duties.

When we boarded the flight we were assured by the jaipur ground staff that our 42 inch Plasma TV shall be safely handled and they would take utmost care managing it.

As soon as we landed on the Mumbai Airport the unexpected happen and we noticed that our plasma was stuck in the luggage belt unattended; in spite being 6 to 7 jet airways members being physically present nearby, my husband literally had to ran towards the luggage belt from the extreme corner of the airport just to save the plasma.

When it was removed from the belt and opened the TV panel was broken. We were traumatized and when we spoke about it to the baggage handling section; no one helped, we were rather informed that fragile items if broken are not their responsibility, we were shocked by this irresponsible behavior on the part of such a reputed airline. We filed an FIR with the airport police station for irresponsible behavior of the staff. Our family used to always travel by jet but henceforth such kind of behavior has given us a reason not to travel anymore with jet.

We follow up regularly with the customer service department but in vain. We hereby request the higher management to kindly contact us on 9869668498 within 2 working days or else we have to take legal means.
