I am M. Vijay, subscriber of Airtel Postpaid service. My mobile number is 9849996650 (Account # 104-101111222). I am having a problem with Airtel regarding bill payment.

On August 7th my brother used the Mchek service on Airtel and paid my mobile bill using correct keyword, but the bill got credited to his own account, but he is an employee of TCS, New Delhi using CUG connection and the office pays his bill every month. It was a mistake from Airtel side regarding payment of bill. Since 20 days I have been calling Airtel and raised several complaints regarding this but no action has been taken. My bill last month was Rs 788 and my brother paid Rs 1000 using his Citibank Credit Card. He got an instant receipt confirming the payment, but I did not recieve the payment, so I called Airtel Customer Care here in AP and requested to look into this matter, but they have failed to do so. I am receiving messages and calls from Airtel to pay my bill soon or my outgoing facility will be barred. I paid my bill 7 days before the due date, but I am facing these problem. Whenever I call Airtel, they hold me at least for 10 minutes and tell me that a new complaint has been raised in this regard and we will solve the problem soon and to be patient. I request the Airtel to clear the amount into my account or refund the amount through cheque or cash to my brother who stays in New Delhi.

I don’t know what all is happening in Airtel services. The television commercials featuring Film stars popular celebrities etc and promotional messages from Airtel are waste of valuable time and money of the customers. I request all the customers of Airtel to be careful while using these services from Airtel. They are promoting the service, but don’t know what problems customers have after using these services.

I have recorded all the calls, messages, and feedback calls of Airtel and I will provide them when needed. I spoke with customer care at least 50 times during this period of time and my problem never got solved till now or I got any satisfaction that my problem will be solved by Airtel.

I have decided not call Airtel call center anymore.
